My last press release was a preview of this season, now we have reached the middle of the season, and if we are going to sum up, it has honestly ben a bad start of the season..
It was a good end of Season 36 with a victory to Olufsen in Taba Foret de Mukura (U23). The first couple of days in season 37 were good to with a 2cd Place in tour of Hokkaido (U23) for Olufsen. Since then we have droved 7 races without a top 9 result. Our new Climbing captain Alberto Perriera hasn’t come up with the expected results, and Olufsen has spend most of the time I training camps. We started losing a lot of points, and has dropped from being close Div. 5 wich was the Announced goal for the season, to the bottom of div. 7.
But day 35 was one big turning point for Hilltup, Alberto Perriera finished 3rd in Sevilla – La vente. Yesterday, Alberto Perriera came up with an other great result in Hasyurt – Gökbük. Where he came in 2cd with these terrific results he brought Hilltup back in Div. 6
Later on yesterday, it was Olufsens turn to show his climbing skills in Portmore – Bath Fountin (U23). Henning Olufsen was one of the big Pre-race favorites to this race, and with 2 previous (U23) results out of 2 possible, the expectations were high from the manager. Olufsen certainly didn’t disappoint, he came in 1st. So in the last 3 days Hilltup raced 3 races and got 3 results.
In next week the team travels to Switzerland, where the climbing team is racing Valais – Valais. Since the team is already in Switzerland Henning Olufsen and a couple of other riders try one´s strength on Cornol ITT.

ye I can't complain about how my second season's gone so far :)
lets see, maybe i can be as lucky as you and be able to participate in both MRS and ROTM in the same season
ye the climbing TT in RotM would really suit him, also the Volta is the sort of tour he'd be really good in (although that's all the way up in division 2)
well the ITT in MRS is only 7 km so i dont expect Olufsen to take a lot of time there. but it would be exiting to see him ind ROTM, where there are more and longer ITTs
from what I found, TT ability isn't vital, the majority of the time gaps seem to come on the climbing stages
i hope he will do well in GC, but im not sure there is enough TT kilometres in the tour, for him to win
Would be interesting to see how he'd do on Monte Rosa, not sure his CL/DH are high enough to win but in top form I definitely wouldn't rule him out, especially with the team you have around him
thanks, i really hope so, im exited to see what he can achieve in the hilly ITT this week, then i just need to send him on his last TT session and his ready to Monte Rosa tour
best of luck, now that Henning's maxed it's only a matter of time before you break into division 5
